Domestic Short Hair - Nikon - Medium - Adult - Female - Cat
Hi, I'm Nikon, a one-year-old spayed female with a brown tabby coat. One of the first things you'll probably notice about me is that I only have three legs?one of my back legs has been amputated. I came into the shelter like this and it doesn't seem to be painful, though because I have limited mobility I will always have to be an indoor-only cat. I'm super sweet and friendly girl who craves attention, but I'm having a bit of a rough time adjusting to life at the shelter after my owner died, and I tend to get over-stimulated easily. I therefore need to go home with a very experienced cat owner who knows how to interpret my moods. I don't like other cats or dogs, and would do best in an adult-only home. In the right environment and with a patient and understanding owner, though, I have the potential to develop into a wonderful companion. Did I mention I crave attention? Come visit me, and I'll be so happy to see you that I'll purr my heart out and squirm all over the floor, kneading. I really enjoy petting, and I'll head-butt and stretch out as you scratch my cheeks. I like batting at toys like a feather wand, or rolling around on the floor with a catnip mouse.
